Rich Van Konynenburg's untimely death on September 25, 2012 was a shock to the CFS/ME community. Rich was a true friend, and a true scientist. His efforts to unravel the underlying mechanism of CFS/ME, and to treat it, were unflagging. Rich gave many presentations, wrote many papers, and answered every single question that was put to him on CFS/ME forums and boards. He always had time for our community. His kindness and generosity were unstinting.
I have posted the methylation protocol on this website exactly as he submitted it to me in May 2012. It is not his final protocol - I believe that for Rich there never would have been a final protocol - but it contains all the treatments Rich believed would best help the CFS/ME community.
We will miss him.
